Cindy Karim, Founder and CEO of multiple enterprises including CK Star Entertainment and GAIA F&B, was awarded the Youth Award at the 4th Her Times Women Empowerment Award, held at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore on 6 July 2023. She is one of the five awardees who were honored at the award ceremony.
“Her Times Women Empowerment Award” (WEA) was inaugurated by Her Times, an arm of the Fortune Times Group, with the support of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore on the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Indonesia in 2017. WEA aims to recognize exceptional women who have made significant contributions in the fields of education, business, society, and philanthropy in Singapore, Indonesia, and other ASEAN countries. Besides their remarkable achievements, the selected winners are also known advocates for improving women’s lives in areas such as education, healthcare, and social development.
In her acceptance speech, Cindy Karim commemorates the women in her life that have empowered her to become the successful woman she is today. “As a daughter of an entrepreneurial mother, and a mother myself of a new-born daughter, this award means a lot to me. It reminds me of what I am fighting for, which is a future where every woman feels empowered to achieve their goals and celebrate their successes.”
